![]() ![]() This is where you will receive your audio source from your DAW, or in this case, Reaper for me. On input 2 is where I have my Virtual Cable OUTPUT selected. As I’ve said, you don’t need to do this if you don’t need to monitor your input source. On input 1 I have my mic input just for monitoring’s sake. Once you have both software installed, set up your inputs on VoiceMeeter first. Comments and feedback are welcome in the comments. Please bear with me as I try my best to explain this in the easiest way possible. This is likely due to the fact that Focsurite ASIO driver is not compatible with ASIO4all. But there was too much digital issue with the input audio coming in pulses. P/s: I’ve tried just using ASIO4All for this and bypassing VoiceMeeter altogether and then separate the output hardware (VC + Scarlett). ![]() One is for my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, and the other is for what I want my friends to hear. So VoiceMeeter is perfect because it has 2 separate outputs to help me with this. In fact, due to its latency, I’d rather not. I want my friends to hear the polished version of me (a.k.a my mix in Reaper) but I don’t necessarily need to hear it myself.I need to set up a separate monitoring system because I feel disoriented during gaming when I can’t hear myself. In this case, I needed two main things to happen. As a live sound engineer, I’m used to being able to have control over my mix. See notes on Bypassing Virtual Cables below. I added Virtual Cables to my setup because I want the flexibility to choose in my mix. First, you need to download VoiceMeeter on your PC.
